A kick-off meeting for the Northern EU Gateways project launched the activities of WP5 led by NORDUnet.
The meeting took place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 10 January 2023, where representatives of CSC, SUNET, DTU/DeiC and NORDUnet met face-to-face to discuss core activities and the complex goals ahead.
The aim of the meeting was to reach the common understanding of the project scope. But most importantly, to hear commitment from the participating NRENs to allocate resources for the project by appointing task leaders and distributing responsibilities.
Meeting attendees discussed the focus points, organisation structure and budget of the project, including the synergies and implications with other inititiatives.
The meeting successfully concluded with assigned task leaders and agreed next steps.
